What made you become a referee?
Got injured when playing football but still wanted to be involved in football.

Becoming the President of the Referee's Association and getting promoted onto the Highland League Line.

What do you enjoy about refereeing?
I enjoy the banter with my colleagues and the support and friendship that I have gained by being a referee.

What was your first game?
North Caledonian game between Inverness Caledonian & Invergordon in 1992.

What was your most memorable game?
Highland League Cup Final - Forres V Keith

Your refereeing ambitions?
To remain involved and actively refereeing for as long as possible.

What are your other hobbies & pastimes? : Watching Football, Gardening, Reading and Relaxing.

Any pet hates in football?
Players who throw themselves to the ground when they have not been touched.

What is your favourite film?
Star Wars & The Dambusters

What is your favourite drink?
Malt Whisky

What is your favourite band/singer?
Runrig, Bruce Springsteen & Status Quo

What advice would you give to someone thinking of becoming a referee?
To enjoy the experiences that you will get throughout their career and to stick at it and don't be put off by the behaviour of people they will come in contact with during their career.
