What made you become a referee?
Nothing better to do, stopped the wife gurning at me all the time. But didn't work she gurns I'm out all the time at games.
Highlights so far?
Getting on Highland League line.
What do you enjoy about refereeing?
Travelling about and meeting different teams.
What was your first game?
Rothes v's Invergordon under 17's.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of becoming a referee?
Give it a try.
What was your most memorable game so far?
Scotland v's Holland under 15's international.
Referees get a negative press, why do you do it?
Because I enjoy it.
What are your referee ambitions/targets?
Stay on Highland League for as long as possible.
What are your other hobbies & pastimes?
Golf, Fishing and keeping fit.
